The West looks out for its own
Teton Marketplace plans to donate 1% of platform revenue to the Teton County Search & Rescue Foundation after the giving program is confirmed with the Foundation.
The gift will come from Teton Marketplace’s fee—not as an added charge to buyers or sellers. The Foundation supports local search and rescue volunteers through training, equipment, education, advocacy, and mental health support.

We validate each file, compare privacy-safe hashes for reuse, and review available capture details. If the signals are unclear, a human reviewer can ask the seller for fresh proof.
When present, capture date and device information are reviewed. We note whether GPS metadata exists but do not retain precise coordinates.
A privacy-safe file hash helps flag exact duplicate uploads that need a closer look.
For higher-risk or unclear listings, we can request a new photo made for that specific verification.
